Hi,
I’m interested in reading some fantasy, but have never quite been grasped by the genre before – mostly in films and TV shows, e.g LOTR. I’m currently finishing The Three Body Problem trilogy, and thinking of trying NK Jemisin’s “Fifth Season”, which I’ve understood is a merger between fantasy and sci fi. My problem with fantasy in general is my lack of feeling connected to it and seeing its parallells to our reality and life. I do understand that that is a flaw on my part.
So, I would like fantasy that is at least somewhat easily relatable, but still has a gripping story. Three Body Problem trilogy might be my favorite books of all time tbh.
