I just finished devouring all of Pulley’s books and desperately need more stories like those! I think Pepperharrow was my favorite book of hers, and Valery K was a close second. I love how she fuses romance and science, I love how the love stories are all so quietly intense and full of yearning, I love her writing style.
In absence of more Pulley to read, I’m looking for scifi/magical realism romance recs, ideally with both genres getting equal amounts of focus. Doesn’t have to be gay. Doesn’t have to be enemies to lovers, but I’ll admit I’m a sucker for the trope. I’m open to YA, NA, adult, whatever.
Books I’ve already devoured and loved: One Last Stop, Red White and Royal Blue, This is How You Lose the Time War, The Starless Sea, the Scholomance trilogy, The House in the Cerulean Sea, Project Hail Mary (not romance but the friendship ruled).
Popular books I’ve read and didn’t enjoy: The Locked Tomb, A Memory Called Empire, Renegades, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.
