The Invocations by Krystal Sutherland just came out. A reviewer described it as, “magical dark academia horror about scary girls.” It’s next on my TBR bc I also love dark academia.

It has mixed reviews, but I adored Elisabeth Thomas’ *Catherine House*. Unreliable narrator, academic setting cut off from the outside world, slow pace, *great* writing and a lingering mystery.
