I want to start learning more about human history. I figured that starting to read about the broad world history of humans might be a good start and then branching of from there.
Can you recommend any good books to start reading about human history? Books that covers history from the dawn of man to modern society.

Osprey make good books about different wars, soldiers, weapons, and battles.
I’m currently reading g the Dawn of Everything by David Graeber and David Wengrow. It’s about political structures and state formation in prehistory. I’ve been fascinated by it so far. It’s long and dense, but written in a way that’s accessible to people without academic backgrounds
