Hi everyone! I am an avid short story lover. At a young age I really became obsessed with the twilight zone and goosebumps so it naturally progressed into loving short stories, especially supernatural ones. I’ve read and thoroughly enjoyed HP Lovecraft and Robert Aickman, but I’d really like to find an author that isn’t so antiquated. I love the premise of their stories but am yearning for a short story in the same vein that isn’t misogynistic and right leaning. I can do without the racism, sexism, and Mussolini ass kissing. Does anyone have any recommendations please!! It would be nice to read something like this but from a woman/non binary pov
