I love the trope of two people who hate each other (or appear to hate each other) falling in love OR where the guy is secretly pining for the girl. I’m looking for something like the Hating Game except well written and not as predictable/cliche. That book almost entirely feels like it’s the fantasy of a preteen girl and I’m not into it, but I am into the relationship dynamic between the characters. They are snarky to each other, there’s major pining on his side.
Even just books with this kind of relationship as a subplot would please me!
