Forgive me, I’ve never posted on this forum as I’m just getting into reading for leisure. I recently came into a collection of books given to me. First Love was the first one that I picked up after reading the summary. I looked it up to see if anyone had talked about it on Reddit to see if it was worth the read but I couldn’t find anything. (Other than some James Patterson hate but I haven’t read enough of his work to understand lol)
Has anyone read this? Maybe I’m just new to reading and I think every book is a great book but I absolutely loved it. I’m dying to hear other peoples opinions on this book.

James Patterson is a brand, not an author. It’s a book written by Emily Raymond under contract to that brand.
If you like the premise of the book, you’ll like the book.
Yeah, James Patterson used to be an author, now he just puts his name on other people’s books to give them a boost in sales by a recognizable name. I doubt he had very much to do with the book at all.
I have read some of these books and some are great and some are okay. If you happen to like this one, then look for other books by Emily Raymond.
