Fiction or nonfiction is fine, just something that is genuinely funny. Please none of the Uber popular ‘look how kooky me and my ADD life is and my house is dirty and kids are crazy’ rants turned into a book, I could literally just look at my house to see this.

I just finished the Leslie Jones memoir and literally cackled, I’m considering just starting it over! I did like Idiot/s by Laura Clery (though was a little close to the description above), I liked ‘Maybe you should talk to someone’. I’ve been advised a lot of David Sedaris but have tried 1-2 and was just meh but maybe there are more.

    TIA!!

*Redshirts* by John Scalzi really made me laugh. It was very creative and a lot of fun.

    2. Miriam Margolyes’ autobiography This much is true.

Well written, hilarious and filthy. You have been warned.

    3. To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis. A time-traveling mystery comedy of manners.
I’d probably pick P.G. Wodehouse as the funniest writer in English, but Douglas Adams is a close second.
