She loves art, architecture, history (specifically European history), philosophy, architecture, and she’s a devout Christian. We just finished reading Wilde’s “The Picture of Dorian Gray” in our Literature class and she was particularly fascinated of Wilde’s philosophy of art (that life imitates art) and though she disagreed with his interpretation fundamentally, she still enjoyed the insightful contemplations it led her to wrestle with and the differing perspective of the world. Any suggestions based off these perimeters? Fiction or nonfiction will do as long as it will adequately arouse her interests and curiosity.
