Hello! I was just recommended this subreddit and I’m already thrilled with the posts… and overwhelmed!
I’m very very new into the world of fantasy and looking for a book that will appeal to me and my three best girl friends! Here’s a little context:
2 of my friends and I recently read ACOTAR and Throne of Glass, and are slowly getting through Crescent City. These are literally the first fantasy books I’ve ever read!! As such, we text and talk constantly about the books. Our other friend is feeling very left out of our unofficial book club so I am looking for a book that will suit all 4 of us!!
I think generally I am looking for some fantasy/romance. Priory of the orange tree is my friends favorite book, and she’s also gay so I would love a book that has some actual LGBT representation, particularly lesbians, but that is not end all be all.
I am searching Fantasy in this group and getting a ton of great recommendations – so than you past posters!! But I wanted to make my own post as well with a bit more specifics. TYIA!

I’d also add A Marvellous Light and its sequels. The first book is m/m. The second is f/f.
