Hello everyone!
I am a student going to school for a masters in early childhood/childhood education. I am looking to have really fun books in my classroom library that engage kids and inspire them to become better readers.
I remember when I was an elementary school student I really liked the skeleton creek books because they had an online aspect where you would watch spooky videos and try and figure out clues on what was happening next. Honestly I can’t really remember exactly how the books went but I remember everyone fighting over them, and having to share the book, where we all would lock ourselves in the classroom bathroom with the lights off for maximum effect of fear lol.
Anyways, I was wondering if there are any other books out there that use the same idea of outside clues before you go to the next chapter? I think it would be fun to read a book that isn’t so scary, but interactive with the class to open discussion and promote team building ideas to solve problems. Thank you!
