I should be clear. I loved his writing, the book is funny enough and the story is interesting enough. But it got more grating and unrealistic as it went. Eventually the optimism weared me out and I found the ending insufferable. I needed a book that dealt with anxiety and this was the top suggestion, but this feels like fantasy. Everything will be alright mumbo jumbo. Everybody is good deep inside bullshit. Ya, it’s a big NO for me.
