Looking to ugly cry or get pulled into a 5 star read

Hi, my dog who has been in remission from cancer for the last 2.5 years is showing some new concerning symptoms. Waiting for her biopsy results to come back. I’ve just been doomscrolling next to her and disassociating. I would at least rather read, but all of my usual casual, easy reading genres have no appeal (thriller, mystery, rom-com). I’m looking either for 5 star reads or something that’s gonna make me sob. 5 star reads for me have been Project Hail Mary, Yellowface, Happiness Falls, Crying in H Mart, The Midnight Library.
