Why do I, a 30 year old white man (Portuguese if that helps) find this book super lame. I read and LOVED Gabriel’s short stories, love in the times of cholera, and chronicle of a death foretold. I was very excited for this to be the best book yet. However, I limped my way slowly through the book and finished it very disappointed. I must be missing some literary brainpower it seems because of how much people love this book.
