Need resource book on life in big cities in 1870 for a “Blades in the Dark” campaign.

I’m looking for a book about people’s life in a big city e.g. London so that I can get to know what it looked like back then. It doesn’t need to be similar to the grim setting in “Blades in the Dark” at all. I want to know how people’s day-to-day went by, what did the city look like, and some other basic stuff. I’m pretty bad at describing stuff so it would also help me in that regard.
