I am working and going to school full time and also living in a pretty toxic home environment and things are really hard for me. I DO NOT want any non-fic or self help book at the moment. But something literary that helped you heal. Something more on the uplifting side rather than nihilistic.
What book helped you get through a hard time?
EDIT: I should probably add I like Charlie Kaufman, Kurt Vonnegut, Albert Camus, And Kafka I’m a big fan of absurdism, existentialism, and surrealism

Don’t write it off. It was modelled on the Aeneid and the war experience of the author.
