It’s been a while since I read something new. As a kid I always loved books about kind of surreal worlds, like Alice and Wonderland or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or The Magician’s Nephew or Stardust and I was wondering if anybody is writing that kind of stuff for an older audience? Stardust was more grown up than the others, but generally more things along those lines. Ideally not leaning it like a mental illness/dissociation “they were just crazy the whole time!” direction a la the Alice the Madness games, just fun and weird and exploring strange new places.
