The summary is that there is a hidden group of people that live with grey dragons. There is only one male dragon and he only bonds with a female rider but the female rider has to marry a man so he can be the leader. The girl is scared of the man that wants to force her to marry him while scamming a village for money by having her dragon terrorize the village she meets her live interest. A monk that offers himself as the virgin sacrifice. The girl uses her magic to make him bonded to her. He wants to kill her because he had sex with her. He follows her to there village becomes the leader and her husband while defeating the bad guy.
