Hi! So I am currently reading Slewfoot by Brom. I am OBSESSED. I think what I like most is the dark fantasy aspect. I love that there’s references to forest spirits and fae and such. I also like the unlikely bond forming between Abitha and Samson. I think I’m looking for something that is creepy but mystical. I like the time period too. I’m not sure if there’s anything else like this book but I’m so obsessed with it so far.
