For quite a long time I’ve wanted to read more non-fiction, both to learn and to diversify my library. The issue is, I could never find something that captivates me in the same way fiction does. I love to learn and exclusively read non-fiction as a kid/pre-teen (the thin and narrowly focused titles you’d expect in an elementary school library), but this changed a few years ago.
That is, until I read Sapiens. Something about the way it’s written is so engaging and fun to read, exactly like the sci-fi books I can finish in a day. My question is, what other books are similar? Not necessarily in subject, but in writing. While my preference would be about biology or the natural world, I’m not looking for a topic in particular. What do you think?
