Hi! I have been reading a lot about ocean ecosystems, and it is amazing how much of our oceans are unexplored and what kinds of things are there that humans have never seen before. This got me to thinking about what it would be like to travel to distant planets and begin to explore those oceans. What creatures would you encounter, what cultures might exist there, or how colonies would develop around alien oceans.
Single books are great, but I am also open to new series as well.

I can’t think of any prose fiction that covers this, but there is a free digital magazine called Astrovitae that explores speculative biology and the like. Just looking at the covers of issues 2 and 3, it appears at least those two issues cover some aquatic life and worlds.
