I’m starting a book club with friends/family. I thought it would be fun to read some classics that everyone thinks they read in high school but can’t really remember. So far thinking things along the lines of Frankenstein, little women, in cold blood, 1984, etc. hoping to send out a poll today so any suggestions are appreciated!

Do you guys have a set length? The Count of Monte Cristo is a good one but it’s like 1200 pages. I read with a book club and it was pretty unanimously everyone’s favorite.
