This is inspired by a post I saw on another subreddit, but I am didn’t see any suggestions there that were exactly what would peak my interest. I would like to read a book that reminds me of warm sunshine and sunscreen. I like romantic novels that are not too cheesy. I highly dislike Twilight.

It doesn’t have to just be about falling in love but summertime and good beach vibes would be good. Some other books I liked were Snow Falling on Cedars, Where the Crawdads Sing, and In The Woods by Tana French. All of those have a bit of a dark twist on them but it doesn’t need to be something darker or more melancholy like that.

Check out Elin Hilderbrand’s books! Her books are so good. All beach, summery vibes! The Blue Bistro is my favorite of hers.

Emily Henry’s books are the perfect summer romance books as they are all usually based around summer vacations, so: **Beach Read**, **People We Meet On Vacation**, **Book Lovers**, and **Happy Place**.
