I need a self help book on how to emotionally regulate and chill out
Man, I’ll be honest I feel I’m a bit highly strung lately. I need a book that has some insights into actionable processes on how to self regulate better. Would be great for my mentals and my partner. Thanks!
Emotional First Aid by Guy Winch. He covers a range of emotional injuries, relevant case anecdotes, and exercises or strategies in how to deal with it.

The Four Agreements and Alan Watts Teaches Meditation
First time paper version, second time audio book. It’s light, does not take itself seriously, and provides actionable useful advice.

Skip the books. Go to therapy. Self help Books only give vague generalized advice, and most self help books are written by people who aren’t actually experts in emotional regulation. It also takes time to find strategies that work for you, and to put them into practice. There is no quick fix.
