So with the release of Dune: Part 2 it got me thinking. What are some books coming out now (or recent history) that maybe in the near or distant future you can see being popular in media?
The first Dune book came out in 1965 and the first movie was 2021, LOTR 1937-1949 with the first movie coming out in 2001, A Song of Ice and Fire was 1996 and GoT came out in 2011. Harry Potter is maybe a little different because the movies came out shortly after the books.
I’m starting to get more into fiction (mainly books I mentioned above) but what are some science fiction, fantasy etc. type books that are coming out now (or over the last few years) that you would recommend and also maybe see being a future big media project?
