I’m looking for a book that basically explains the history of fashion, especially over the last 100-200 years, with examples and pictures from the most famous designers, what they did first, what they’re known for, etc.
To be clear, not looking for a coffee table pictures only book, I’m down for some dense history, but I would at least need illustrations to say “this is what an empire waistline looks like.”
