Hello,
I am having struggle commit to new books, I read a page or two and convince myself that there is something wrong with the style, characters or what have you. I guess am afraid of “wasting my time”, so since getting back into reading the last couple of years I have only read books I know are going to be great, like Dostoevsky, or re-read something I have already read, like Harry Potter.
I have re-read all the Harry Potter books over the past few weeks, and after trying to start a few fantasy books like “Six of Crows” and “the blade itself”, I am at a loss. I need something that will grip me instantly.
I like western, fantasy, exciting biographies (loved one on Napoleon), and Dostoevsky (whatever genre that is).
Please suggest me something u have loved and would die to be able to read again for the first time.
