Maybe I’m getting it wrong, but it seems like the author is treating ladboys(his term) like an other/object/not real people. Some *thing* to be joked about. According to wikipedia, which I realize is only wikipedia, the term ladyboy is an english, sort of, translation of “Kathoey” and can be considered acceptable in those countries?
So am I getting it wrong? Or is it something tongue in cheek(right phrase?) like Tribe8’s song “Tranny Chaser” which is about making fun of/criticizing men who chase trans women by Lynne the singer taking on the role of a “tranny chaser”?
