My sister (49) and I (53) are both avid readers who like to give each other books. I’d be a poor example of a big brother if I didn’t give her something solely to get her goat. She enjoys fantasy and classic English lit, no overly explicit violence, sex or gore. I wouldn’t give her anything by Chuck Palahniuk for example. Possible ideas are engaging plots that go nowhere, absolutely enraging main characters, or the standard “What the hell did I just read” sort of thing. Suggest me a book to troll her and tell me why it will get her goat.

Get her *My Sister, the Serial Killer* by Oyinkan Braithwaite. Mostly for the title, but it’s a fun book. Def “what did I just read?”
