I really like historical fiction about ordinary people. I’ve very much enjoyed ‘The Corner That Held Them’ (about the lives of ordinary nuns in England, mostly dark ages), Pachinko (abouth several generations of a South Korean family in Japan), The Good Earth (story of a Chinese farming family), etc
Any suggestions?
