So much dystopian sci fi or medieval esque fantasy out there, are there any really good utopian scifi or even more specifically “solar punk” sci-fi/fantasy where civilization evolved more along side with nature or had to live in a more symbiotic way with nature. The only example i can think of off the top of my head that kinda hits the vibe i’m looking for is Nausicaa by Hayao Miyazaki, but I’m open to stuff much different. Just find dystopian scifi so played out at this point, would rather see a more optimistic look on the future and technology or fantasy stories where the civilizations live in harmony with nature i.e the Pukel men in lord of the rings but not straight up hunter gatherer types maybe a more sophisticated culture with those philosophies.
