Hello Everyone!
I recently finished reading a book about the boxer Harry Haft and would like to find more works about boxers and/or the sport of boxing itself. I have already read about Muhammad Ali.
If possible, I would prefer non-fiction. If you have books you liked that are fiction, however, feel free to share!
Thank you 🙂

Norman Mailer’s “The Fight” is still worth reading (and it’s short) even if you’ve read about Muhammad Ali already because it’s some of the best boxing writing. Some people find some of Mailer’s personal prattling in that book a little annoying though … but it’s still highly recommended. My husband also liked A.J. Liebling’s “A Sweet Science” and he’s another legendary boxing writer. I think you’ll like that one. Each chapter is an essay about a fight.
It’s fiction, but *Fat City* by Leonard Gardner is one of the best sports novels ever written.
