I have almost 100 books I have on my “to read” list, but when I finish one, I spend ridiculous amounts of time trying to decide which one to start next.
Do you guys have a method? Have a list and stick to it, in order or just grab a random one?
I’m between books now and I’m overwhelmed.

I use a library to decide what’s available now. As books are available, I read them.
In my opinion there is no rush in life to read, and there is no shame in not having read all of the books on your list. I have books that have been on my list since I started reading, for example, East of Eden has been on my to-read list for over 2 years, but the book that I just finished was on my list for less than a month, the reason? I simply wanted to read it more! East of Eden did not grow legs in the time I have been reading, it is not going anywhere!
I simply pick the book that appeals to me most. Every book I read I never finish it and think “I wish I’d read that other book”, and if you do, then simply pick up that book and start reading it!
Hope this helps 🙂
I try to just get in a groove for a certain writer or genre and then when I get bored of it or get interested in something else I move on.
Sometimes if I read a book and they somehow mention the author of a book I own I’ll read that. Otherwise it might be something stupid like, “this book has a green cover, oh look that one too I’ll read that.” Mostly I take a bunch of books from my shelf and just pick the one I feel like reading.
