I read Killing Hope a while back. Pretty slanted against the CIA, but fascinating.
I’m less interested in personal memoirs and more in the nitty gritty art of intelligence collection.
I know there’s quite a few limitations on “seeing how the sausage is made” for classification / security reaesons, but it’d be nice to see just what kinds of things the CIA has done and generally *how* things go. Doesn’t have to be CIA-specific. I’m actually into more of a “dry” read. I like learning stuff without frills.
