I recently read the Lunar Chronicles series and found out the main plot of the first book and some parts of other ones too, ale pretty predictable and easy to guess. But I still really enjoyed the plot and the entire story, even though I sometimes knew what happens. I’ve also seen the fandom and it’s pretty big, to be honest.
To me personally, a predictable plot doesn’t make it a bad story. But I’ve seen people saying that predictable plot equals a bad/lame story.
