Just finished reading the first two books of Gene Wolfes book of the new sun and I am amazed at how reading it feels like I am reading through a dream. It’s hard to describe but he gives away very little concrete information, and often times sections seem disconnected or flow like a dream would, and events, places and people are almost surreal, but it has very strong imagery and amazing prose and it begins to make more sense over time the more you read through the book.
Are there any other books like this, specifically looking for short stories that read like dreams ?

A lot of *Her Body and Other Parties* by Carmen Maria Machado felt this way to me
“very little concrete information”
Most of the stories in A. Tabucchi’s Letter from Casablanca would qualify.
