So a few years ago a read this really amazing book but I forgot it’s title I’ll describe the plot for you and if someone’s read it please tell me the title
The plot: A boy’s mother dies and he has to go live with his relatives who are wealthy and snobbish. A series of events lead him to find a cat that talks. He also buys fish from a local animal store. Eventually he finds out that he is very special as he’s able to go to a secret place where mystical creatures exist. This leads him to find a dragon who he starts to ride. Also the boy has eyes of different colors
