I got the book Pinwheel and I liked the premise of humanity and aliens forming a joint community where they have to coexist, but it is an erotic novel where the main grab is how hot the alien women are and the protagonist doesn’t grab me personally.
I liked the Mass Effect books, I was considering Halo. But I’d just like a series I can listen to that has aliens that are sort of human in a way, they’re aliens of course but they have language, culture and desire.
