I’m looking for my next book/series to read and I hope some of you can point me in te right direction.
Looking for a book in the scifi/fantasy genre that also has an audiobook version (whispersync for voice enabled) because I do half my reading in my car. I love listening my current book while driving and picking up the Kindle at night to continue reading a couple of pages before bed.
I am almost done with the fourth book of the Bobiverse and absolutely love that series. I also very much enjoyed The Martian and Project Hail Mary. Another series I enjoy is the Wizard 2.0 series and I have listened to ten books of the Space Team series. Also quite liked The Fold and 14 by Peter Clines.
What I am looking for is a lighter tone (like Wizard 2.0 and Space Team) with great narration (Luke Daniels, Phill Thron and Ray Porter are my favorites) and a fresh take on the genre. Something bent and funny yet serious enough to be engaging.
