Can anyone recommend a book/comic/manga about a retired or fired detective/lawyer/cop/etc. who has touched rock bottom because of an unsolved (seemingly unsolvable) case, but gets a new lead and restarts the investigation to get some closure? Bonus point if the central plot is a mystery, but I’m happy to read thrillers, crime dramas, or even non-fiction that deals with similar things.
