Wilderness survival fiction is all I’ve felt like reading lately, so I’m looking for more books to add to my list. I’m looking for fictional books, ideally centered around a young female protagonist who is lost in the wilderness with minimal gear. I’m aware of many memoirs and middle grade wilderness survival books, although I’m not too interested in them.
Here are some wilderness survival books I’ve already read:
– I Am Still Alive by Kate Alice Marshall
– The Last One by Alexandra Oliva
– Be Not Far From Me by Mindy McGinnis
– The Woods are Always Watching by Stephanie Perkins
– Lord of the Flies by William Golding
Here are some that are already on my TBR:
– The Road by Cormac McCarthy
– The River at Night by Erica Ferencik

– Dead of Winter by Darcy Coates
– This Wretched Valley by Jenny Kiefer
