In HS, about 10 years ago now, I read a book that really changed the way I see life. I cannot remember the name of the book, nor the author. But I do remember that at the very beginning of the book was a timeline of the author’s life, including the year they committed suicide. I remember the book being about depression and community, and how people deal with it in their own lonely way. I remember the book made me feel blue – maybe the cover was blue? I’m not sure but have been looking for this book for some time because would love to re-read it. Can anyone think of what book/author this may have been? I am open to any similar book recommendations.

Not sure but could it be “a long way down” by Nick Hornby?
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher?
Those of both are great books but the authors are still alive. I’m 100% sure that the author of the book I’m looking for took their own life.
