Hi! I’m a big fan of Ursula K. Le Guin and have been steadily making my way through basically her entire catalogue of books over the past year-ish. Now I’m reaching the end, unfortunately. I would really appreciate if anyone has any suggestions for a next author/book/series to move on to after I’m finished with Le Guin?
What I love about Le Guin is her scope. The depth and wealth of meaning in every book/short story/novella I’ve read from her is insane. These are books which understand and admire the power of stories; I come away from each one with a new idea to chew on. Any recommendations that could evoke a similar feeling would be lovely.
This can be any genre, but bonus points for sci-fi or fantasy. Thank you!

The Expanse series is wonderful, definitely grittier than much of Le Guins books.
