Suggest me a sci fi/thriller where US or world governments have already established or will be establishing first contact with “aliens” but are keeping it under wraps

Avid sci fi reader here who loves first contact stories but everything I have read involves the world at large already having knowledge (Contact and Rendezvous with Rama comes to mind) . Is there anything where governments are keeping it a secret and characters are searching for answers?
