I’m reading How To Make Friends With The Dark, and it’s really good and slightly triggering, and her mom wasn’t perfect, but at least she was present. Another book I’ve read is I’m Glad My Mom Died, which is very extreme obviously.
I was wondering if there’s more books, fiction or non-fiction, about women or girls who’s mom died, and they’re very conflicted about it, because of course you miss her, but she wasn’t a great mom either. Like, it’s hard to be mad at her because she died young, but you’re still here with all this anger.
