I’m a big fan of some kind of deep book. I also like searching, so if it’s a book that doesn’t explicitly say at the end ‘And that’s why x’ and I can find the meaning myself, I’d love it.
I’m a big fan of fantasy and sci-fi (realistic sci-fi tho, it always frustrates me when sci-fi ends up traveling at the speed of light and going to some random planet in ANOTHER SOLAR SYSTEM within seconds while that is literally impossible, the closest star is 4 lightyears away you guys, I am nitpicky i know), but also love it when character relationships (any relationship, parent-child, friendship, romance, whatever) are explored, healed and broken in realistic ways. Deep betrayal can really make me cry. Also, I’m gifted, so if there are any books with good characters who are also gifted I’d love to hear it.
TL;DR: A deep book with realistic characters, arcs and relationships, preferably sci-fi or fantasy but doesn’t have to be.
