    Hey! I use books to motivate myself to perform better for my events. But most of them have been non fiction: Rich Roll, Scott Jurek, Chris Mcdougall etc.

    Would love to know if there are fiction books that take you through the mindset of athletes, persisting through hard times, losing and winning.

    1. Double Fault by Lionel Shriver is about tennis but it’s still athletes, I guess. It really brought home to me the sheer grinding toil of training to be a top performer, and the pressure of competing, whilst managing relationships and life in general.
