Anything with tw regarding children is a big no for me. Or anything with s** abuse/assault for any age. Violence I am fine with if the power balance is roughly equal. Profanity doesn’t bother me at all in fact l like it.
Jane Austen is one classic writer I think will be a good fit for me. Suggestions can be anything, doesn’t have to be like Jane Austen that’s just one I can think of. I usually read genre fiction, sci-fi or “chick lit” and I am looking to branch out.
I tried to read East of Eden but the first like 1-2 chapters were way too triggering so I had to stop.
