I am planning to gift a close one a new book on their birthday. Last year I gifted them works of Gibran and Atticus. They are really into Atticus right now. This year I plan to give them something that could speak to them. They are going through a tough time with b-school admits while navigating through other situations. They are in an anxious and what-to-do-next confused space. I was thinking to introduce them to Dostoevsky this year, but now I’m wondering… In need of recommendations that could enlighten/inspire/make them feel better while not being too boring. Other options are welcome though.
Thanks in advance!
