I’ve had zero motivation to read lately due to a variety of reasons 😔. I need a book that can invigorate the reading spirit within me.
My ‘5 star reads’ have been: Coin locker babies, 1984, Grotesque; Out; Real world [Natuso Kirino], The bell jar, Norwegian wood, The housekeeper and the professor, Kafka on the shore, The hike [Drew Magary].
It would also be great if someone can tell me what my preferred genres (from the above) are because that would make it infinitely easier to browse books. So far I depend on searching up “books like …” but end up bored at the suggestions.
Thanks!

The book that got me out of the worst reading slump of my life is A Thousand Splendid Sun’s by Khaled Hosseini, based on the books you’ve read and love, I think you’ll enjoy it!
Never let me go by Kazuo Ishiguro definitely brought me out of a slump
Sometimes I find it helps to re-read a book you have loved. That way, you’re getting back into the habit of reading without having to focus too hard on the plot.
It’ll be an easy read and then once completed and ticked off, you’ll then want to keep the momentum going.
How would you rate these books? Leaning towards same books interested ako basahin. So far out by natsuo kirino palang nabasa ko hehe. Also looking for my next read👋
